Job Title: Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology Technologist Specialty: Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) required Must-Have: - OR/C-arm experience - Experience with patient types listed - Fluoroscopy experience preferred - Approval required for non-experienced travelers Description: Start needed on 7/28. The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Imaging. Imaging rooms include 3 X-ray rooms, 2 general X-ray, and 1 for Fluoroscopy/Pain Clinic. Patients encountered include adults, geriatrics, and some pediatrics. Care areas include Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, ICU, MedSurg, and Operating Room. An average of 25-30 scans are performed per day. The department is supported by a Lead Tech, Internal Transport, and Radiologist on site. Technology used includes EMR: Cerner, PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA, and various imaging equipment. Weekend rotation and holiday expectations are done in rotation with other techs. Scheduling varies based on department needs with both day and evening shifts available. Scrubs should be solid colors or provided by the facility if necessary.
