Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Intensive Care Unit Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 7P - 7A (12 Night)
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License:
Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have:
Experience in Neuro and Trauma EVD and ICP monitoring Ventilator
management Critical care drips Drain management Stroke experience
Hemodynamic line management (A-lines/CVP) Cardiac rhythm
recognition Chest tubes and tracheostomy care Strong assessment
skills Description: Join a dynamic ICU team focused on delivering
high-quality patient care. The unit cares for medical, surgical,
trauma, neuro, ortho, and interventional patients. Patient ratios
are 1:2 based on acuity, with potential for a 3rd patient in
transitional situations. Charge experience is preferred, and
applicants should indicate if they have worked in a CRN capacity.
Support is provided by a charge nurse, resource nurse, hospitalist,
intensivist, and physical/occupational therapy. The charting system
used is Cerner, and Alaris and Pyxis equipment are present.
Floating to other units may occur within the scope of practice. A
weekend rotation is required, with varying holiday expectations
based on staffing needs. All time off requests must go through the
manager for approval. Scrub colors must be solid and professional.
