Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ED - Emergency Department - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Manchester, CT. Job Function: - Night Shift. - 3x12: 7pm - 7am. - Manage care for adult and pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions. - Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and families. - Communicate closely with the healthcare team and recognize when early intervention is needed. - Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic procedures. - Perform procedures such as IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, and blood draws. Job Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). - Current RN license in the state of Connecticut. - 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required. - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association required.
