Job Description:

Therapist Assistant, you will be an essential part of our devoted
team, helping to provide comprehensive physical therapy services
under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical
Therapist. Our commitment to personalized care offers a fulfilling
environment to develop and apply your skills in assisting patients
to regain or enhance their physical capabilities. Assist the
Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Help patients perform specific exercises as part of the plan of
care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and
maintenance exercises. Document patient’s response to treatment and
progress towards identified goals. Maintain equipment and space
used during treatments, ensuring adherence to safety and
cleanliness standards. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to plan and evaluate team treatment goals. Strong
interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and
healthcare team. Ability to follow written and oral instructions
and to document treatments accurately. Knowledge of proper body
mechanics to prevent self-injury and injury to patients. Capability
to operate and maintain physical therapy equipment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state
license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. CPR
Certification is recommended.
