Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in customized rehabilitation therapy, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will work under the supervision of our physical therapists to help patients recover and improve their physical functions following illness, injury, or disability. This role requires a compassionate individual who can effectively implement treatment plans and provide exceptional patient care. Assist physical therapists in providing rehabilitation treatments and procedures. Monitor patient progress and report on outcomes to supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care and exercises. Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions. Implement therapeutic activities as prescribed by the physical therapist. Assist in the assessment of patient needs and therapy performance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of the job Proficient in using therapy equipment and implementing therapy programs Basic understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist Assistant license CPR certification
