Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide
maternity leave coverage at an early childhood school located in
Canton, MI. This position is set for the current school year (CSY)
and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). In
this role, you will serve a preschool caseload, working closely
with young children to support their developmental needs through
specialized occupational therapy services. This is an excellent
chance to apply your expertise in pediatric OT within an
educational setting, helping children achieve their fullest
potential in a supportive, early learning environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy
interventions tailored to preschool-aged children Collaborate with
educators, families, and support staff to create effective
treatment plans Monitor and document student progress, adjusting
therapy goals as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute
to multidisciplinary planning Ensure compliance with educational
and therapy service standards Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based
pediatrics preferred Familiarity with early childhood developmental
milestones and interventions Strong communication and collaboration
skills to engage with students, parents, and staff Ability to
manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records
Flexibility to adapt to the schedule and needs of a contract
position Location: Canton, MI This temporary role provides a unique
