An independent, non-profit, community-based hospital, designated as a Critical Access Hospital in central Maine, is adding a Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician. The hospital serves a broad rural region of Somerset County and provides 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, and a network of specialty and primary care physicians close to home. About the opportunity: Outpatient FP with Obstetrics OB, Peds, GYN (colposcopies & LEEP procedures), geriatrics This is a 5-provider practice Call 1:7 The office is located in a Medical Office Building attached to the hospital Compensation/ Benefits: Employed position with a robust salary plus full benefits Loan reimbursement and relocation assistance are available 7 weeks PTO, including vacation, sick, holiday, CME $4000/year CME funds Community/ Location: Located in central Maine, in a town of 8000 people One hour from Bangor and just 90 minutes to Portland 3 hours to Boston or Quebec, Canada We have a quaint town center with a cinema, shopping, restaurants, and a Riverwalk Outdoor recreation includes white water rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and trout fishing Highly rated schools.
