Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) – Contract Job Type Contract Specialty Nursing Sub-Specialties: Operating Room (OR) OR Circulation & Scrub Assignment Details 13-week contract Full-time: 36 hours per week Schedule: Four (4) 9-hour shifts per week Shift hours: 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM Workdays: Monday through Thursday On-call required One (1) position available Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment. The RN will function in both circulating and scrub roles, providing high-quality perioperative nursing care. Strong orthopedic surgery experience is required . Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in circulating and scrub roles Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment and supplies Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic procedures Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond to changes in condition Accurately document intraoperative care and procedures Participate in on-call rotation as required Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements Requirements Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be current) Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room experience Strong orthopedic OR experience required Proficiency in both circulating and scrub roles Active BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory) Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Additional Details No bilingual requirement No holiday coverage required EMR system: Not specified Timecards must be completed accurately and according to facility guidelines Only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and possess the required certifications are eligible to apply.
