Job Description Job Description Occupational Therapist - Their purpose is to evaluate, plan, direct and administer Occupational Therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician, performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. Administers treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an eff ort to restore function and preventdisability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Observes and evaluates treatment affect. Recommends change to physician, if needed. Performs an appropriate evaluation and assessment on each patient, as related to the therapy requested and provided and reassessments, as per policy. This may include pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients and the general patient population. Requirements: BLS Certification - Required. Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility. - Required. Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy or equivalent. - Required.
