OBGYN opening in Manchester, CT 10 miles from Hartford, CT OB/GYN Laborist Award Winning Hospital Full Time Hospital-employed Inpatient A flexible schedule of 7 to 8 (24-hour) shifts per month Providing inpatient OB/GYN floor consultations and emergency room coverage Multi-disciplinary approach and supportive team Managing the obstetric unit Performing obstetric triage Weekend cross-coverage with other local collaborative groups Level 3 Neonatology Intensive Care Unit with well infant nursery Family Birthing Center has 20 private rooms with approximately 1600 hundred annual deliveries The team is anchored by exceptionally talented obstetrics and gynecology physicians, neonatology/nurse midwives, and nurse practitioners/physician assistants. Strong partnership with Connecticut Childrens Medical Center further supports the Level III Neonatology (NICU) Unit with expert neonatologists, neonatology nurses, lactation consultants, pediatricians, physician therapists, respiratory therapists, and social workers.
