Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A school-based healthcare professional is needed to
provide dedicated 1:1 support for a medically fragile elementary
student in Northfield, MN. This is a contract position for the
current school year with a commitment of 35 hours per week,
delivering essential nursing care and assistance in a
paraprofessional role throughout the academic day.
Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to a medically
fragile student within an elementary school setting Assist the
student with daily activities and health needs alongside
educational staff Safely accompany the student on the bus to and
from school, leaving a personal vehicle at the students home and
returning via bus Monitor and document health status and respond to
any medical needs or emergencies appropriately Collaborate with
school staff and families to support the students well-being and
educational participation Qualifications: Active Minnesota
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed
Vocational Nurse (LVN) license Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school or
medically fragile settings Ability to provide compassionate,
patient-centered care with strong communication and organizational
