Overview Join our team in Canton! We are seeking either a Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN). Sign-on Bonus:
$25,000! Additional Compensation: Extra night and weekend
differentials available. Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) delivers professional nursing care to residents of all ages
in a long-term care setting, under the guidance of a registered
nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN
demonstrates a solid understanding of nursing principles relevant
to the clinical environment and practices within the full scope of
nursing expertise. This role involves: Assessing residents' health
and safety needs. Administering medications and treatments as
prescribed. Providing technical support to healthcare
professionals. Documenting interactions and outcomes related to
resident care. Building effective relationships with residents,
healthcare providers, and the community. Collaborating with an
interdisciplinary care team. Communicating clearly while
maintaining confidentiality. Counseling residents and their
families on prevention and treatment plans. Developing self-care
programs based on resident education principles. Performing
additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduation from an
accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse;
an Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. If IV
therapy/management skills are required, completion of a
Board-approved AASPN program or an IV Therapy course approved by
the state nursing board is necessary. Must have completed a
pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical
experience or have at least 400 hours of LPN experience at another
facility. Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State
Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Must
maintain required competencies and certifications specific to the
department. Completion of annual continuing education units (CEUs)
