be considered. A contract nursing opportunity is available for
experienced RNs skilled in step-down care, specializing in cardiac
critical care. This position is based in Andover, KS, with a
day-to-day focus on delivering expert patient care in a dynamic
clinical setting. Location: Situated near Wichita, Andover offers a

Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to
patients recovering from cardiac events in a step-down unit
environment. Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular treatments
including use of balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement
therapy (CRRT), and hypothermia protocols. Administer medications
and manage central lines and drips with precision and adherence to
safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
optimize patient outcomes and deliver holistic care. Maintain
detailed and accurate electronic medical records using the Meditech
system. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN licensure
and demonstrated experience in cardiac step-down or critical care
nursing. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required; NIH certification preferred.
Proven ability to efficiently manage a 1:2 patient ratio in a
high-acuity setting. Strong organizational skills coupled with a
positive attitude and engagement in patient-centered care. Work
Environment: Unit with 26 beds and a skilled team consisting of 15
nursing staff per shift, including charge nurses and patient care
technicians. Night shift availability from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a
focus on delivering top-quality care utilizing advanced medical
