Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiation Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel ?/tAbout Facility: •/t489 State St., Bangor, ME 04401 •/tLevel II Trauma Center – receives air flights in (serve 2/3 of State; closest trauma center within a 2 hr radius) •/tCertified Stroke Center •/tBed: 411 ?/tGeneral Information: •/tThree Varian TrueBeam Linacs, 1 Siemans Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator •/tWill you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes – depending on type of experience, preferable with Mosaiq and/or Varian experience. •/tWill you accept a first-time traveler? Yes ?/tPatient Types: •/tCare areas: Outpatient & Inpatient •/tPrimarily Adult/Geriatrics with very few Peds ?/tPatients seen in a day (average per day): •/t90 over three linacs ?/tRequired Licensure and Certifications: •/tBLS •/tARRT (T) required •/tME State license for Radiation Therapy ?/tSkills required: •/tPreferred Mosaiq experience •/tPreferred TrueBeam experience ?/tTechnology/Equipment: •/tEMR: Mosaiq •/tEquipment: Varian Linacs ?/tFloating: If yes, where? •/tAs needed covering linacs ?/tOrientation: •/t1-1.5 weeks, based on experience/comfort level ?/tScheduling: •/tNo weekends •/tNo call •/tHoliday Expectations: done in rotation with other techs •/tRTO: Manager Approval •/tSchedule: ?/t4 week schedules to best of ability ?/tSpecific shift will vary based on need – specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this) ?/tOther notes: •/tScrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed •/tParking: Free The Good Life MedStaff Job ID 34869343.
