State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by
endorsement Certifications: Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6
months of hire Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of
nursing - Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and
documentation skills - Ability to function independently
Description: The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates members
of the patient care team. Focus is on the provision of
individualized quality patient care consistent with state
standards. The RN will develop the patient care plan in partnership
with physicians and other patient care team members. Collaboration
with the patient and, if applicable, the patient's family is
essential. Demonstrates professional nursing practice skills
utilizing the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing,
and evaluating care. This includes all assigned patients across age
groups: pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. The RN shall
promote teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the
facility. Adherence to hospital policies regarding confidentiality,
harassment, advance directives, and the Americans with Disabilities
Act is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills
are necessary for successful performance in this role. Requirements
