be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
with vascular experience to support a Level 1 trauma centers
Operating Room team in South Portland, ME. This contract position
offers a dynamic work environment with cases ranging from general
surgery to specialized vascular and trauma procedures. Candidates
with open case experience are essential, and those with
ENDOVASCULAR experience are highly preferred to enhance team
capability. Key Responsibilities: - Provide skilled nursing care in
the Operating Room, focusing on vascular cases and trauma
management. - Participate in a call rotation covering five weekday
nights and two 24-hour weekend shifts over a six-week cycle to
support continuous patient care. - Collaborate with surgical teams
across specialties including cardiac, thoracic, neuro, ortho, and
pediatric surgeries. - Maintain patient safety and uphold clinical
standards within a high-acuity environment. - Utilize and maintain
specialized surgical equipment such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and
Intuitive Robot systems. - Deliver one-on-one patient care with a
1:1 patient ratio. Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current
RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 1
trauma center. - Open case experience is mandatory. - CNOR
certification preferred. - Experience with vascular surgery and
endovascular procedures highly favored. - Flexibility and
accountability are critical to succeed on this specialty team. -
Ability to work 12- or 10-hour shifts with a flexible schedule. -
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Location
