Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced surgical first assistants seeking a dynamic role supporting a variety of specialties including GYN, Urology, Spine, Orthopedic trauma, Breast, C-sections, Robotics, Vascular, and Endovascular procedures. Operate advanced technology such as two Da Vinci robots and work alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to excellent patient care. Location: Situated in Derry, NH, close to a major medical center in Manchester, this role offers access to a well-established healthcare environment with advanced surgical suites and a supportive team. Responsibilities: - Serve primarily as a surgical first assistant and provide scrub tech support as needed - Assist with a broad range of complex surgical specialties and procedures - Collaborate efficiently with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Comply with unit policies and maintain high standards of professionalism and patient experience Qualifications & Desired Experience: - Current New Hampshire Medical Tech License required for CSFA (CRNFA not accepted) - Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) preferred - BLS certification required - Previous experience with robotic and endovascular surgical procedures is highly desirable - Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and different shift models (four 10-hour or three 12-hour shifts) Schedule/Hours: - Option to choose from 4 days of 10-hour shifts (06:45 am to 5:15 pm) - Or 3 days of 12-hour shifts (06:45 am to 7:15 pm) Additional Information: - Scrubs are provided daily on site for convenience - Flexible scheduling options accommodate work-life balance - Operate within a technologically advanced surgical environment featuring state-of-the-art Da Vinci robots Enhance your career in a cutting-edge surgical unit with supportive colleagues and innovative technology.
