Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1st assist experience required License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Recent 1st assist experience Willingness to be trained for additional surgical procedures Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse needed for immediate start. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include providing care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, invasive, and other special procedures. The surgical services mainly focus on orthopedic and trauma cases. Additional procedures include ENT and cataract removal surgeries, as well as cesarean sections. Experience with ENT, cataract, and cesarean sections is not required but candidates must be willing to undergo training for these surgeries. The Registered Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1.
