Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: South Portland, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,465 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and Oasis - Comfortable with driving to patient homes daily - Vehicle, driver’s license, and auto insurance required Description: This position coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders. Nursing care is provided based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. The role involves supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. The position requires home visits and participation in periodic office meetings. Travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic is necessary, and mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The average number of patients per day ranges from 5 to 10. Each visit and activity holds a different point value, with a weekly expectation of 30 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment. Clinicians are expected to accept every patient on their schedule, regardless of distance. Should patient census be low, there is an opportunity to float to another nearby clinic to pick up hours.
