Detail: All shifts, rotating days/nights/weekends, 13 hour shifts

Details: The Central Region of Hartford Healthcare is hiring a
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their critical
care team! This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to
work across both campuses at both MidState Medical Center and The
Hospital of Central Connecticut critical care services. As an APP,
you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and
specialized care to a diverse, critically ill patient population of
complex medical and surgical patients. Duties include admissions,
discharges, rounding, and procedures such as central lines,
arterial lines, and chest tubes. We provide a robust and
comprehensive orientation and supervision for procedures, making
this an excellent opportunity for new graduates looking for

established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with

consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Physician
Assistants/Nurse Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation
of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or

provider’s practice as designated by protocols and identifies
problems outside of their scope of practice and refers
