Radiation Therapist Location: Bangor, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,726 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Therapy Specialty: Radiation Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred, depending on type of experience. License: State license for Radiation Therapy required. Certifications: BLS, ARRT (T) required. Must-Have: Preferred experience with Mosaiq and/or Varian equipment. Description: ASAP start needed. Manager interviews available. Choose between either 5 eight-hour days or 4 nine-hour days with a half day for the fifth shift. Level II Trauma Center serves a large population. Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds. Three Varian TrueBeam Linacs and one Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT Simulator on site. Accepts travelers with one year of experience depending on type of experience. First-time travelers are also welcomed. Patient care areas include outpatient and inpatient services. Primarily serving adults and geriatrics, with very few pediatric cases. Average number of patients seen per day is 90 over the three linacs. No weekends or call required. Holiday expectations are rotated among other technicians. Scheduling will be done with consideration of preferences as best as possible. Specific shift details will be communicated during the interview process. Scrub color can be any solid color as long as it is professional.
