assistant to join our team. About the Role: The Recreation
Assistant at Cherry Brook Health Care Center plays a vital role in
enhancing the quality of life for residents through engaging
recreational activities. This position is focused on planning,
organizing, and implementing a variety of programs that promote
physical, social, and emotional well-being. The Recreation
Assistant will work closely with residents to assess their

of a therapeutic recreation team. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in recreational therapy or a related field.

specifically a nursing home. Responsibilities: Plan and facilitate
recreational activities and programs for residents, ensuring they
are engaging and appropriate for various skill levels. Assist in
the assessment of residents' interests and needs to tailor
activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all recreational
activities, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate
with other staff members to coordinate events and outings, ensuring
smooth execution and resident participation. Document participation
and feedback from residents to evaluate the effectiveness of
programs and make necessary adjustments. Skills: The required
skills for this position include strong communication and
interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building rapport
