qualifications will not be considered. A Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) is needed for a short-term contract assignment covering leave
at an elementary school in Canton, GA. This role involves providing
dedicated, one-on-one care for an elementary student with
specialized medical needs. Location: Elementary School, Canton, GA
Duration: February 27, 2026 March 2, 2026 (non-flexible dates)
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Assignment: One-on-one
care for a student with complex health requirements Key
Responsibilities: Administer and manage J-tube feedings and
flushing Perform oral suctioning as needed for excessive secretions
Monitor and respond to seizure activity, including use of Vagal
Nerve Stimulator (magnet therapy) Provide comprehensive care
including toileting assistance (diapering), repositioning, and
transfers for a wheelchair-dependent student Monitor vital signs
and respond to changes in health status Collaborate with school
health staff and maintain accurate health records Qualifications:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Experience in a
school nursing environment strongly preferred Familiarity with 1:1
nursing assignments and working with pediatric patients Knowledge
of feeding tubes, suctioning, seizure management, and mobility
