Exciting Locum Opportunity for Hematology/Oncology Provider Near WOODBURY, CT Join Our Team and Make a Difference in Cancer Care Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology provider seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have an urgent need for a provider to join our dynamic team near WOODBURY, CT, starting as soon as credentialed. This position offers a fulfilling experience covering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic settings. Job Details: Schedule: 3 clinic days (M-F) 8:00-4:30, occasional weekends, and night call (infrequent) Setting: Inpatient consults Outpatient Clinic Reason for Coverage: Leave of absence Call Schedule: Weekends: 2-3 per year Nights: 1:10 Patient Demographic: Adults/Geriatric Case Distribution: 80% Hematology, 20% Oncology (no internal medicine) Physicians in Practice: 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 8 Patient Volume: Hospital: 10 patients per day Outpatient: 15 patients per day Trauma Level: Level I EMR: Epic Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days Submission Requirements: Board Certified: Required CT License: Required Local Candidates: Highly Preferred Certification Requirements: Board Certified State License Requirements: Connecticut Join a Supportive Hematology/Oncology Team This locum opportunity provides a chance to contribute to cancer care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
