Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to
join our dynamic team, providing unparalleled healthcare services
in a facility-based setting. As a part of our team, you will have
the opportunity to enhance patient recovery, delivering tailored
therapy to individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or
managing chronic conditions. Our Occupational Therapists play a
crucial role in helping patients regain independence and improve
their quality of life. Assess patient needs and develop
individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions
to enhance patients' functionality and independence. Document
patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate
patients and families about home programs and discharge planning.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and
comprehensive care provision. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of patient
assistance Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and
technology Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Capacity to
manage caseload effectively and independently Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be licensed as an
Occupational Therapist in the state of practice. NBCOT
certification preferred.
