Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist
to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing tailored
therapy and rehabilitation services in a post-acute setting. This
role focuses on helping patients regain their independence and
improve their ability to perform daily activities following
illness, injury, or surgery. As part of our integrated healthcare
services, you will work both in facility-based environments and
with home-based patient care, utilizing a holistic approach to
treatment planning and delivery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
and satisfaction. Evaluate patient conditions and develop treatment
plans tailored to individual needs. Implement therapeutic
interventions to improve patient functionality in daily activities.
Educate patients and families on aftercare plans and preventative
strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Document patient progress and adjust
treatment plans as needed. Adhere to all professional and ethical
standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality
regulations. Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and
principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle complex situations and make informed clinical
decisions. Proficient with documentation and patient management
software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
NBCOT Certification as an OT.
