Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to join
our team, assisting in managing our facility-based and home-based
patient care services across 42 states. This role is pivotal in
maintaining the high-quality standards we are known for,
specializing in post-acute care with an emphasis on superior
patient outcomes. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff
operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and
standards, and foster an environment that supports excellence in
patient care. Oversee daily operations of nursing staff and patient
care. Implement policies and protocols to maintain high standards
of care. Manage staffing schedules, training, and performance
evaluations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and standards. Assist in the
development of patient care plans. Monitor patient care for quality
and efficacy. Leadership and team management Knowledge of
healthcare regulations and accreditation Ability to develop and
implement nursing care plans Strong communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in clinical skills Critical thinking and
problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
