SHAs for Veterans, primarily using an interview-based approach with

Care Nurse Practitioner (AANP) (required). Current and active
license to practice medicine in Maine (required). Familiarity with
musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions
(required). Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing
respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions. Comfort
and experience with interview-based patient assessments
(preferred). Ability to work independently, manage time
effectively, and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to build rapport with Veterans. Access to a
personal laptop (excluding MACs). Join a Team Committed to Veteran

assessments for Veterans and ensuring they receive the benefits
they've earned. If you're a skilled and compassionate Nurse
Practitioner seeking a flexible, locum tenens opportunity to make a
difference, we encourage you to apply! Additional Notes: New
providers will be required to complete a training program on

within 48 hours of exam completion. Goniometer use is required for
range of motion assessments. This locum tenens position offers the
opportunity to live near Madawaska, Maine, and contribute remotely
or travel to designated government facilities to perform in-person
exams. Shape Your Schedule & Serve Your Community This PRN position
empowers you to create a work schedule that aligns with your
lifestyle. You can choose to work full or half days, and you won't
have to worry about weekends or call. This flexibility allows you
to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still making a
significant contribution to Veteran care. Make a Lasting Impact on
