Locum Tenens Opportunity for Cardiothoracic Surgeon Near WOODBURY CT Duration: 6-12 months (approximate) Shift Description: Hospital Based, all inpatient - OR/ICU/Rounding of patients in ER and floors, Monday to Friday, 6:45AM-5PM call Weekend Requirements: Nights/Weekend rotation On Call Requirements: Nights/Weekend rotation Details: Dates of Coverage: 6-12 months (approximate) Reason for Coverage: LOA and departure Practice Setting: Hospital Based - all inpatient - OR/ICU/Rounding of patients in ER and floors Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45AM-5PM Call Schedule: Nights and weekends, approximately 7-8 calls per month Call Ratio: 3 providers taking call Average Number of Cases Per Day: 2 cases per day Trauma Level/Designation: Level One Annual ER Volume: 85,000 per year Number of Operating Rooms: 3 Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Description of Ancillary Staff: Full complement Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric Certification Requirement: BLS and ACLS Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms CABG Off-Pump CABG Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery, and Gastroepiploic Artery) Redo Coronary Revascularization Tube Thoracostomy Pericardial Window Thoracic aortic aneurysms Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery CoreValve??
