Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care offering services through a wide network of inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice facilities, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing highly skilled physical therapy services to our patients in settings that include inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their highest level of recovery and participation in life through therapeutic treatments and modalities designed to restore function and improve mobility. Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on the clinical assessment and patient goals. Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Document patient care and progress comprehensively in patient records. Guide, educate, and supervise junior physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. Maintain a collaborative relationship with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated care. Contribute to the development and achievement of quality improvement initiatives. Advanced knowledge of physical therapy principles, theories, methods, and evidence-based practices. Ability to handle complex patient cases and develop effective treatment plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and technology. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Physical Therapist. Board Certification in Physical Therapy (ABPTS) is preferred.
