Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing excellent recovery care in facility-based and home-based settings across 42 states. Our Physical Therapists play a pivotal role in the post-acute recovery process, designing and administering treatments to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. This position requires a compassionate professional committed to delivering comprehensive care that aligns with our mission of ensuring high-quality outcomes. Assess patient condition by examining muscle strength, motor function, sensory perception, and functional capacity Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, goals, and health status Implement physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and comfort Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments Document patient care and progress, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize rehabilitation strategies and outcomes Proficient in designing and executing patient-specific treatment plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physically demanding tasks Dedication to patient-centered care and long-term rehabilitation goals Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice CPR and BLS Certification preferred
