Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential rehabilitation services and enhancing patient recovery in a post-acute setting. This position encompasses both facility-based and home-based patient care across a variety of settings. As part of Encompass Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and staff development. Assess patient condition by examining muscle and joint function, mobility, coordination, and overall physical ability. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient-specific needs and physician recommendations. Educate patients and families on proper rehabilitation techniques aimed at maximising recovery. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care plans for patients. Expertise in physical therapy techniques and tools Ability to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in documentation and patient record management Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
