Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to
join our vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional patient
care in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a leader in
integrated healthcare services, we offer both facility-based and
home-based care, focusing on post-acute services to optimize
patient recovery and outcomes. This role involves assessing patient
needs, developing effective treatment plans, and implementing
therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and pain management
in post-acute settings. Our therapists are pivotal in helping
patients regain their independence and achieve their recovery
goals. Evaluate patient conditions and establish treatment goals
based on medical histories. Develop personalized intervention plans
to address specific recovery needs. Implement therapeutic
techniques effectively to aid recovery, such as exercises,
stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment. Document
patient progress and modify treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
Educate patients and their families on the recovery process and
preventive measures to avoid injury recurrence. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Participate in ongoing education to remain current with industry
standards and technologies. Profound knowledge of physical therapy
techniques and procedures. Excellent patient management skills to
handle diverse cases. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Proficiency in using physical therapy software and
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid state Physical Therapy license. CPR certification.
