Job Description:
Job Description Seeking a full time MRI Technologist to join a
great team. This is a full time/permanent opportunity. General
Summary Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging
procedures at a beginning to intermediate skills level. Performs
procedures to produce MR images of designated anatomical areas
according to established practices and procedures. Duties and
Responsibilities Performs MR imaging studies; obtains patient
history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient
concerns. Under the direct supervision of the physician,
administers intravenous contrast media. Recognizes complications
(e.g., contrast reaction) and treats appropriately. Performs the
duties of Radiographer as needed. Schedules cases to coordinate
with other patient examinations. Positions and transfers patients
comfortably. Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices
radiation safety procedures. Prepares and maintains written
documentation as required by the profession and the department.

classified. Qualifications Minimum Education: Certificate Program
ARMRIT program. Required Work Experience: 1 year Relevant
experience. Required Licenses: Basic Life Support Upon Hire
Required and Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging
(MRI) - ARRT within 1-1/2 years Required or Certified MRI
Technologist - ARMRIT within 1-1/2 years Required Courses and
Training: Accredited program in radiologic technology. Upon Hire
