Job Description Optometrist Optometrist needed in Houlton, ME.

and financially stable Federally Qualified Health Center. Salary
and Benefits The pay for this position is $140,000 - $170,000
(based on years of experience) Fiscal year bonus based on
productivity Health Insurance Employers Pays: (1st day of the month

employee and family with no premiums Life Insurance at 2x annual
salary Retirement Package – 401(K) with 3% Match (After one year of

paid vacation in first year and 160 hours each year after
Additional accrued PTO up to 88 hours each year 10 paid holidays
CME Time Off – 1 week of time toward and $2,500 annually

employee Relocation Assistance Available Responsibilities 4 Day
Work Week | 100% Outpatient 14 – 16 Patients of All Ages Per Day
Appropriate clinical documentation through their Athena EMR Perform
vision tests, analyze results and develop a treatment plan. Examine
eyes using observation, instruments and pharmaceutical agents, to
determine visual acuity and perception, focus and coordination and
to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities such as glaucoma or
color blindness. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and
medications. Prescribe therapeutic procedures to correct or
conserve vision. Provide pre and postoperative care to patients
undergoing eye surgery, for example, examining a patient’s eyes the
day after surgery. Work closed with primary care providers in the
provision of team delivery of healthcare. Maintain accurate, timely
and quality health records. Participate in all quality measures as
required. Requirements New Graduates Welcome Clear and Active
Medical Doctor License in the State of Maine Board Certified or
