Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Machias, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: 8:30am to 1700 /n/nWork Experience:/n /n/t - Ensures proper operating of autoclave units prior to use on a daily basis /n/t - Responsible for ensuring biological and chemical tests at beginning of every day shift if assigned and record results in appropriate log /n/t - Inspects gas and steam autoclaves for visible signs of malfunction /n/t - Processes contaminated instruments and supplies returned to Central Service /n/t - Uses knowledge of sterilization principles to correctly wrap or package items for sterilization /n/t - Processes all items appropriately following manufacturer’s instructions /n/t - Assists with training and in-services for new and long term employees /n /n/n/nLicense: /nCRCST /n/n /n/nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification. /n ProKatchers Job ID 294040.
