Job Description Anesthesiology Opportunity - Location: Machias,
ME - Bangor 85m - Full-time, permanent positionCompensation &
Incentives: $550,000 annual salary $150,000 sign-on bonus (3-year
commitment required) $25,000 housing allowance Annual loan
reimbursement Position Overview: Seeking a skilled and experienced
Anesthesiologist to provide high-quality care in a hospital
setting. This full-time position includes both inpatient and
outpatient services and involves collaboration with surgical teams
to ensure safe and effective anesthesia practices.Key
Responsibilities: Provide a full range of anesthesia services for
surgical, obstetric, and procedural cases Offer anesthesia
consultations for both inpatients and outpatients Support clinical
education for hospital staff Comply with all federal, state, local,
and hospital regulations Maintain high standards in accordance with
the American Society of Anesthesiologists Attend committee meetings
and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Deliver
exceptional, patient-centered care Follow all safety policies and
demonstrate punctual, reliable attendance Requirements: MD or DO
from an accredited medical school Board-certified or board-eligible
in Anesthesiology Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
of Maine At least 10 years of anesthesia experience in an acute
care setting Proficient in a full range of anesthesia techniques
Active DEA registration Must maintain membership on the medical
staff Additional Information: Participation in hospital-wide
quality improvement and compliance programs Adherence to all
safety, privacy, and confidentiality regulations and procedures
