Full-time, permanent position Outpatient-focused with potential
inpatient consults Person-centered, patient-engaged care model
Teaching opportunities available (medical students and residents)
Optional involvement in clinical research and quality improvement

Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic
disorders, including: - Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational) -
Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid
nodules) - Adrenal and pituitary disorders - Growth and puberty
disorders - Osteoporosis and calcium disorders - Polycystic Ovary
Syndrome (PCOS) Interpret laboratory tests and imaging related to
hormonal conditions Develop and manage long-term treatment plans,
including medication, hormone therapy, and lifestyle guidance
Monitor chronic conditions and adjust treatment as needed
Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists Educate
patients on disease management and prevention Procedural &
Administrative Duties: Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic
testing (e.g., hormone stimulation and suppression tests) Maintain
accurate and timely medical documentation Ensure compliance with
clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Participate in patient
safety and quality improvement initiatives Academic & Research
(Optional): Teach medical students, residents, and/or fellows
Participate in clinical research and publication Stay current with
advancements in endocrinology and metabolic care Requirements: MD
degree Completion of Internal Medicine residency Fellowship
training in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Board-certified or
board-eligible in Internal Medicine Board-certified or
board-eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Eligible for
or holding an unrestricted Connecticut medical license Strong
experience managing chronic endocrine conditions Excellent
diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills Compensation &
