Job Description Academic Primary Care opening in Winsted, CT Located 25 miles from Hartford, CT and 40 miles from Springfield, MA Details: Seeking a full-time Academic Primary Care Physician to join the core faculty team for the newly established Quinnipiac University Rural Family Medicine Residency in Winsted, CT. This exciting role offers the opportunity to shape the education of future rural family medicine physicians while providing primary care to patients across all age groups, from newborns to adults. Academic Primary Care Position Details: Role: Academic Primary Care Physician, combination of clinical and faculty responsibilities Location: Winsted, CT (Litchfield County in northwestern CT) Setting: 100%, office-based, outpatient Primary Care Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only, mix of precepting, patient care, and administrative time Phone Call Only: averages only 2 call weekends per year and 1-weeknight ~ 2 months Base salary: starts at $250,000 and up Other compensation: Uncapped incentive bonus, Loan repayment support, Sign-on bonus, Relocation stipend Benefits: Uncapped incentive bonus, Loan repayment support, Sign-on bonus, Relocation Paid CME time off plus CME budget, reimbursed professional licenses and dues Paid time off plus all company holidays Retirement 401K with sizeable match Family care benefits through including emergency back-up care Voluntary benefits include tuition programs, home, auto, renters insurance, identity theft protection, legal services, pet insurance and more!
