Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare
team. In this role, you will be integral to providing high-quality,
patient-centered care in our facilities, which specialize in
short-term post-acute, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and
long-term care services. As an LPN at Genesis HealthCare, you will
work closely with our dynamic clinical team to enhance the health
and quality of life of our patients. Your knowledge and skills in
nursing care, patient education, and clinical excellence will
directly impact our mission of maintaining a healing and nurturing
environment for all. Administer medications and document
therapeutic effects. Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure,
pulse, and respiration). Assist with patient comfort and anxiety
relief. Assist physicians during treatment and examination of
patients. Prepare and administer injections and enemas, monitor
catheters. Educate patients and their families on disease
prevention and health maintenance. Maintain patient confidentiality
and documentation. Coordinate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team environment. Detail-oriented and capable of managing
stress effectively. Physical stamina required for extensive
standing and walking. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have an active Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) license. CPR certification required.
