About You: We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, and our ideal candidate is someone who feels the same. The ideal candidate is already comfortable with handling/restraint, basic surgery prep, and assisting Veterinary Technicians in a clinical setting. Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required. Communication is key in our industry, and we are looking for people who navigate both client and interpersonal communication with skill and ease. Anticipated Schedule: This is a full-time position: Monday - 8am-5pm, Tuesday - 8am-6:30pm, Wednesday - 8am-5:30pm and Thursday - 8am-6:30pm. Rotating Saturday is required. Compensation: $17.00-$19.00 an hour depending on experience. What's in it for you? Requirements: Prior experience working in a veterinary setting is preferred. Experience in handling animals and performing basic animal care tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Compassion and patience when handling animals. Basic knowledge of animal behavior and medical terminology. Ability to work well under pressure and in stressful situations. Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members. Willingness to take direction and adapt to new tasks and procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.
