Position Summary The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join a women’s health team in Shelton, CT. This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on comprehensive women’s health, work-life balance, and quality care. Physicians will provide a mix of obstetric and gynecologic services, including prenatal care, deliveries, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and preventive care. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. Perform prenatal assessments, manage deliveries, and provide postpartum follow-up. Conduct annual exams, screenings, and preventive health visits. Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, and menopause-related concerns. Perform minimally invasive and traditional surgical procedures as appropriate. Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and departmental meetings. Qualifications Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure. Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply. Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience.
