Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care and rehabilitation services. As a vital member of our post-acute care team, you will implement customized treatment plans aiming to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities, promoting their overall independence and enhancing the quality of their lives. Our integrated healthcare approach allows our therapists to work closely across various disciplines, providing a cohesive and comprehensive care environment. Evaluate patients' conditions and develop appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans. Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working environments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient-centric healthcare and rehabilitation. Document patient care and progress, adapting plans as needed to achieve optimal results. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and routines to ensure a smooth transition. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Proficient in the use of occupational therapy technologies and methodologies. Exceptional patient management skills and empathy. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification preferred.
