Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a mixed-acuity facility in New Hampshire, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent experience, prior travel experience, and Cardizem and Amiodarone drip proficiency. /n /n Responsibilities/n - 39-bed, mixed-acuity facility specializing in medical, surgical, and stepdown level of care - Patient population is primarily elderly but may include adults as young as 18 - Telemetry monitoring is a core component of patient care - RN-to-patient ratio is 4:1 or 5:1 depending on patient acuity - 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week - Every other weekend required - Rotating holiday coverage required - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted - Provide nursing care across medical, surgical, and stepdown level patients in a mixed-acuity environment /n /n Requirements/n - Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required; proof of state residency required for Compact license holders - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of recent, equivalent Med/Surg or mixed-acuity RN experience required - Previous travel nursing experience required - Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required - Telemetry experience required - Cardizem and Amiodarone drip experience required - 2 manager references required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-678019.
