Encompass Health is actively seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to join our diverse team of healthcare professionals in delivering exemplary patient care within our state-of-the-art facilities. As a Rehab Therapy Tech, you will assist our therapists in effectively implementing treatment plans for patients with various physical disabilities and rehabilitation needs. This role requires a compassionate individual who can efficiently support both patients and therapists, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment. Your efforts will be crucial in aiding patients' journey towards recovery and enhanced quality of life. Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists in the rehabilitation process. Prepare and maintain therapy areas and equipment. Support patients with mobility and therapeutic exercises under therapists' guidance. Record and report patient progress to therapy team members. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Basic knowledge of therapy practices and procedures. Physical capability to assist patients with movements and exercises. Excellent organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications preferred. Any physical therapy aide certification is a plus but not mandatory.
