Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to
join our dynamic team in providing exceptional rehabilitation
services to patients with various health conditions. This role is
crucial in assisting therapists with patient care activities,
maintaining therapy equipment, and preparing for therapy sessions.
The Rehab Therapy Tech is expected to work closely with physical,
occupational, and speech therapists, contributing to the
development of treatment plans and ensuring each patient receives
outstanding care tailored to their recovery needs. Assist
therapists in the delivery of rehabilitation services and care to
patients. Prepare and maintain the therapy environment, equipment,
and materials. Observe and report on patient responses and progress
during therapy sessions. Help in developing and adapting therapy
sessions that meet the needs of patients. Ensure all therapy areas
adhere to safety and cleanliness standards. Support the therapy
team in administrative tasks and documentation. Basic knowledge of
medical and rehabilitation techniques. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work
collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Adept at handling
multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in
using therapy equipment and maintaining a safe environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification
is mandatory. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Physical Therapy
Aide certification preferred.
