Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to
join our team, offering integrated healthcare services across 42
states. As a Rehab Therapy Tech, you will play a critical role in
our patients' journey towards recovery and wellness, working under
the supervision of licensed therapists in a dynamic, supportive
environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about
providing direct patient care and ready to make a significant
impact in a premier healthcare setting. Assist licensed therapists
in the preparation, implementation, and documentation of patient
treatment plans. Perform clerical duties, including scheduling
appointments and managing therapy equipment. Observe patients
during treatment to report on patient status, including monitoring
signs of distress or discomfort. Maintain a clean and safe therapy
area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Engage
with patients, providing comfort and necessary support during
treatments. Proficiency in using medical software for patient
management. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability
to follow detailed instructions and a capability for manual
dexterity. CPR certified or willing to receive certification.
Experience with physical therapy treatments and use of therapeutic
equipment is preferred. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k CPR certification (or must be obtained within a
designated time period after hiring). First aid certification is an
advantage.
