Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to
join our dynamic team, providing excellent care in a range of
healthcare settings. As a key player in our mission to deliver
high-quality, post-acute healthcare services, the Nursing Assistant
will support our nursing staff by assisting with patient care
activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and
clean environment. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve
optimal health outcomes for our patients across various locations
in the United States. Assist nursing staff with patient care duties
such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
Transport patients between rooms and assist with patient mobility
and positioning. Record and report changes in patients' conditions
and safety concerns to the healthcare team. Ensure room cleanliness
and hygiene, and prepare rooms for new patients. Stock and organize
supplies and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow
instructions and procedures accurately. Strong observational skills
and attention to detail. Capability to perform physically demanding
tasks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is highly
preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) or other relevant healthcare
provider CPR certification.
