Job Description:

Paramount Rehabilitation Centers are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in providing expert and compassionate care in our outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings. In this role, the LPN will support our varied therapeutic services including sports medicine, pre/post surgical rehab, and aquatic therapy. Ideal candidates will be driven by a passion for patient-centred recovery and skilled in managing multiple patient care tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within an outpatient setting Monitor patient health and record signs Administer medications and provide proper documentation Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, applying supports Collaborate with registered nurses to administer care plans Educate patients and their families on treatment plans Assist therapists and medical staff during procedures Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the healthcare environment Adhere to departmental policies and procedures Strong clinical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in managing multiple tasks Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols Capability to follow detailed instructions Competency in writing and maintaining accurate records Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current LPN licensure in the state of practice CPR Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
