Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support
K-12 students in a school setting located in Turner, ME. This role
is ideal for licensed therapists seeking a flexible assignment from
March through June, offering either full-time or part-time hours.
Responsibilities: - Provide occupational therapy evaluations and
interventions to students within the K-12 population. - Collaborate
with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop
and implement individualized treatment plans. - Document progress
notes and maintain compliance with school and state regulations. -
Promote students functional skills to enhance participation in
academic and daily activities. - Participate in multidisciplinary
team meetings and support student success through therapeutic
strategies. Qualifications: - Must hold a valid Maine Occupational
Therapy license. - Experience working in school settings preferred,
with skills adaptable to healthcare or home health contexts. -
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage
with students, families, and school personnel. - Ability to manage
caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently. - Commitment
to maintaining professional standards and ongoing development.
